Lesson plan for non-genealogy savvy librarians to meet the needs of patrons with genealogy interest

Based on Podcast, handouts (web pages of linked URL's) and feedback via FaceBook group
12 programs - one a month - designed to be put on at the library, programs can be reviewed by patrons in the comfort of their homes (also applies if they miss one) and all questions to be handled with
How patrons will ask questions via the FaceBook group:
Patrons will need access to an Internet connected computer
Patrons need to have a FaceBook account
Patrons will need to apply for membership to the Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/PittsburgGenealogy/758970507446734
When asking a question, patrons will need to state which week in the program the question is relative to. If the question involves an individual it needs to include:
Surname (with all known spellings), First and Middle name.
List dates and places of birth, death, marriage and any important events.
List Wife and Children's names.
Responses will totally be at the discussions of the fellow members of the FaceBook group, but it is hoped that at least one of the 400+ members had a similar experience and is willing to share
Patrons will always have the option to submit a query to PCGHS with in the guidelines
Non-genealogy savvy librarian's responsibilities:
Be able to setup a projector on an Internet connected computer
Be able to Access an Internet URL and run a Podcast or step through a presentation (Patrons can read).
Be able to pint off documents from the Internet for patrons
