The Oklahoma Historical Society has been collecting tribal records from the Five Civilized Tribes since 1934 in addition to the federal Indian records placed in the society's custody by an act of Congress that year. It is considered a NARA affiliate. |

They have a very large collection of textural records from the 67 tribes relocated or native to Oklahoma |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
All records collected from the Oklahoma Historical Society by Ancestry will be digitized and a copy returned to the society for their patrons to use and for inclusion on their website |
