2011 08 31 ROPulse Met with Rusty Clafleu? the custodian for Oak Hill cemetery       Met with Rusty Clafleu? the custodian for Oak Hill cemetery
When we outlined what we were doing, he indicated that it was standard practice for funeral homes (during this time) to list Oak Hill or Memorial Gardens on the paperwork when they picked up a casket from the railroad if they were not certain which cemetery the body was to be interned in. They did this to get the paper work completed and the body may have ended up in any of the local cemeteries.

He informed us that section 10 is only Blacks and Indians.

He reviewed his books for information concerning Ida and found nothing.

2011 08 31 ROPulse Trip to Oak Hill Cemetary     None Section 10 Oak Hill - later we found out that this was blacks and Indians only
